About Us

Construction Trade Training

Innovation is our motto and aligning and managing training to learner and business requirements is our absolute endeavour.

We are modernising traditional construction learning with a focus on traineeship models that offer more flexibility for both the employer and the learner. Traineeship learning outcomes share the same qualities as the traditional apprenticeship model but provide greater opportunity for new entry learners to experience and apply a wider range of skill sets across an array of job roles during the most crucial period of their vocational education and training development.

Trade Academy Western Australia offer a variety of construction qualifications for learners and employers in the construction industry. We are able provide quality training and assessment for a range of students and organisations in metropolitan and regional Western Australia.

You might be a new learner seeking a traineeship or apprenticeship. Maybe you’re an employer with a position to fill or a school seeking construction training and assessment services. Whichever it is, make Trade Academy Western Australia your preferred registered training provider.

Recognition Of Prior Learning (RPL)

Recognition of prior learning is a way of using your existing skills and knowledge to obtain a formal qualification.

RPL takes into account all relevant prior learning. This may be in the form of skills, knowledge and experience you may have gained in previous training, paid work, voluntary work or life experiences.

An RPL assessment can assist you in gaining Australian accreditation for a specific field you have gained competence in via formal, non-formal or in-formal learning in previous years but are yet to receive formal recognition for your efforts.

If you have gained an international qualification and require a formal Australian Qualification to increase your employability attributes or have become a skilled construction worker after years of construction employment, then anRPL assessment might be the option for you.

We can also help you with a skills assessment for migration purposes via our RPL program. Click here for further details.

We can provide an RPL assessment in the following accredited qualifications:

CPC33020 - Certificate III Brick and Blocklaying

CPC30220 - Certificate III Carpentry

CPC30920 - Certificate III Scaffolding

CPC20120 - Certificate II in Construction
